Grupo Phoenix has a unique regional position and influence. We are the leaders in the industry in several Latin American countries, allowing us to provide optimal service in strategic markets in Caribbean countries as well as throughout North, Central, and South America.
 1999
Grupo Phoenix is created with leading companies in packing and disposable packaging, initially in Colombia (Multidimensionales S.A.) and Venezuela (Inversiones Selva, Venco Empaques, Vasos Venezolanos, Estírenos del Zulia). Optimal service in strategic markets in Caribbean countries as well as throughout North, Central, and South America.
 2001
Plásticos Desechables de Colombia. S.A., (Plasdecol) becomes part of Grupo Phoenix - Medellín, Colombia. Plasdecol is known to be agile and effective in its mission to develop and manufacture optimal solutions for food packaging and preservation.
 2003
Envases Cuautitlán de México (ECSA) is acquired. ECSA is a leading packager in the dairy industry, bringing new technology and facilitating the expansion of Phoenix’s capacity in Colombia.
 2004
Relocation of the Sunpack plant and the Food Service operations in Colombia/Venezuela. Technology is updated and capacity is expanded in Mexico.
 2006 - 2007
The updated equipment as well as the capacity expansion equipment in Venezuela is perfected.
 2008 - 2009
New strategic plan and restructuring of the company.
 2010
Construction of production plant in the United States.
